After a week of pop-up events, radio interviews and sharing stories from our foster carers for Foster Care Fortnight we had a lovely coffee morning for our foster carers and friends and the social workers who work with them yesterday.
Of course it was a Sandwell style coffee morning – which means coffee and samosas! It was lovely to see old friends catching up and even some new friendships being made. We really do have some great people fostering for us, so it was nice to say ‘thank-you’. We just need a few more of you who might be thinking about fostering to come and join Sandwell’s biggest family.
